Keep those TWIX away!

(Randy! Thanks for the wake up! I needed someone to tap me on the shoulder.) Ugh! I am doing horribly...HORRIBLY! So, I started the Discovery Body Fitness Challenge two weeks ago. Weighed in and everything! I got the eating down right! I have lost the motivation and time for exercise. Ack! No excuses...

I got the FREE 8 week Bally's membership, but can't seem to get motivated to get back to the gym. One distraction is my new full-time job I started January 2nd. Things were much easier when I worked from home and I could leave freely to goto the gym. But now my schedule is: work M-F-6:00am to 3:00pm (commute to LA from the OC from 3:00pm-4:00pm) work 2nd job from home - 4:00pm-6:00pm. I am EXHAUSTED by time my day ends.

But...I just dropped my second job from 4:00pm-6:00pm today (now only work weekends 8:00am-12:00pm) so my late afternoons are FREE! WooHoo! I can hit the gym again!

Weight wise, I am holdong strong to 161lbs. (surprisingly) My goal is anything in the 140s. 149lbs will do!

So for me..right now I am trying to adjust to the commute and new job hours. I eat pretty well at work. I eat breakfast and even have mid-morning snacks and a sensible lunch. One thing about this job, I get FREE lunch everyday! I love it! But, I gotta watch what I order.

I am looking for more ways to motivate me to keep going. Keep reaching for my goals.
Keeping what I have worked so hard to get off...keep it off! Ha!

Play Time is Over!

So, yep...had fun and all wih the family in Atlanta. I ate like there was no tomorrow and thoroughly enjoyed myself. A big part of family socializing is of course eating. Didnt even think about portion size. Who cares?! I said to myself throughout the holiday season...

Well, that morning has has now come for my annual, mothly weigh-in. I stepped on the scale. Dreading the numbers that were going to be displayed.

"How much did I gain back of my 25 pound weight loss?" I say to myself.

(Drum roll please...)

The scale read...160.4lbs! (starting weight on 12/12/06-157lbs.)

"A 4lbs. gained. Not too bad for holiday weight gain." I say to myself

Time to get back to business!

My short term goal weight is 149lbs. (Wanna reach that *40 lb. mark.)

The National Body Challenge 2006 satrts Saturday, January 14th for 8 weeks!

...and I am ready!
